Please Note that as of 2022 it is very difficult to get into Moraine Lake unless you are staying at the lodge. Do not plan to go there unless you have a reservation as you will be disappointed. Many [people have gone at 7am to find parking is full and the attendants will not let you up.
A wedding at Moraine Lake, why of course! With such spectacular views of the mountains and turquoise-coloured lake it certainly makes for great photos too!
I was fortunate enough to be asked by Kelly & Jon to be their marriage commissioner for this special day. They had about 20 friends and family come from all over the US. The original plan was to canoe over to the other side and have the ceremony there. We arrived to the canoe dock but unfortunately due to the snow they had decided to keep the canoe rental shop closed. We made the best of it and walked down the path to find a nice spot on the shore to have their quaint ceremony. After that, I started to take photographs of them at Moraine Lake.
